This idea is based on a prime trend of our times, selfies. It involves an outdoor installation e.g. a bus stop or other busy location, as well as an app which can be downloaded.
Using the app or installation, the viewer is photographed. He is presented with a choice of sex, skin colour, age, a backdrop envinronment and a dog. Based on the information input, a polaroid-style photo of him and his dog is produced. The user can choose to print his photo by touching his credit card on the indicated symbol, thereby making a small donation. Alternatively, the user can input his email for a digital copy of the photo. By sharing the photo on social media, the campaign to adopt a dog will go viral. For this purpose I recommend that all such photos are uploaded under the hashtag #TheMemoryCreator.
